Aluminum Tubes

Aluminum tube performance

As non-ferrous metal pipes, aluminum tubes are widely used in outdoor furniture. Their lightweight nature facilitates easy transportation and installation, significantly reducing the overall weight of furniture. The surface of aluminum tubes naturally forms an aluminum oxide protective layer, which resists oxygen, moisture, and corrosive substances, greatly extending their service life. Through anodizing treatment, their corrosion resistance is further enhanced. With high plasticity, aluminum tubes can be easily shaped into various designs, commonly used for manufacturing chair and table frames. They perform excellently in all types of outdoor environments, maintaining stable structural integrity over time.

Aluminum Tube Maintenance Guide

1.Daily Cleaning

The surface of outdoor aluminum tubes is prone to accumulating dust, mud, and other debris. For daily cleaning, use a soft dry cloth or feather duster to gently brush off surface dust along the longitudinal direction of the tubes. For stubborn dust, wipe gently with a clean damp cloth along the spraying texture.

2.Daily Maintenance

Avoid Hard Object Collisions: Impacts from sharp or hard objects can cause coating damage or deformation of the aluminum tubes. When using or moving outdoor furniture, handle it with care to prevent collisions with metal tools or sharp objects.

Prevent Scratches: During daily use, avoid direct contact between rough items and the surface of aluminum tubes, such as rough cleaning tools or objects with sharp edges. Do not use hard cleaning tools like steel wool or stiff brushes during cleaning to avoid scratching the coating.

Prevent Chemical Corrosion: Avoid contact between aluminum tubes and corrosive chemicals such as acids, alkalis, bleach, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, etc. If accidentally exposed to chemicals, immediately rinse with plenty of clean water and dry thoroughly. Additionally, avoid prolonged contact with salt-containing substances (e.g., seawater, brine). If the tubes come into contact with such substances, clean them promptly after use.
