PE plastic rattan is a common material for outdoor imitation rattan furniture, mimicking the appearance of natural rattan with high strength and flexibility, enabling diverse designs. It is waterproof, UV-resistant, mold-proof, and insect-proof, and can be easily cleaned with a brush or cloth. Compared to natural rattan, it is more durable and immune to pest damage, suitable for long-term outdoor use. It adds a warm, natural touch to outdoor spaces and is frequently used for weaving sofa and seat structures.
1.Cleaning Methods - Use a dry cloth or feather duster to gently brush off dust, debris, and other foreign matter from the surface of the plastic rattan. For dust in gaps, a soft-bristled toothbrush or a vacuum cleaner’s crevice attachment can be used for cleaning. - If there are light stains on the rattan surface, prepare an appropriate amount of warm water, add a small amount of mild neutral detergent (such as dish soap), stir well, dip a soft cloth into the solution, and gently wipe along the rattan texture. Then use a clean damp cloth to remove detergent residue, and finally let it air dry naturally.
2.Maintenance Tips - Avoid placing plastic rattan furniture in direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause the rattan to fade and become brittle. It is recommended to use sun umbrellas, sun curtains, or place the furniture in shaded areas. - Do not place sharp or rough objects on rattan furniture to prevent scratching the surface. Additionally, avoid overloading the furniture to prevent deformation or breakage of the rattan.
